PERFORMANCE RATED CAT 5E BULK CABLE

This cable is tested up to 350 MHz and is perfect for use with 10/100Base-T and 1000Base-T gigabit Ethernet network installations. Our Cat 5E bulk cable is available with either solid or stranded conductor and as sheilded (STP) or unshielded (UTP) twisted pair. You can also choose between PVC and Plenum rated jackets. We offer our bulk Cat 5E cable in a variety of colors for easy identification.

SHIELDED CABLE (STP) vs UNSHIELDED CABLE (UTP)

Cat Cat 5 cables are most commonly utilized with unshielded twisted pairs (UTP). However, environments with large motors, generators, and certain types of high-voltage lighting are major sources of Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Interference (EMI/RFI). In these applications, shielded twisted pair (STP) cable will help protect data signals when connected properly.
